After a decade and a half on the road, the band were at the peak of their live powers. The performance filmed that day shows that they were not only a world-class stadium band, but the only band that ever had the guts to walk onto the stage at Wembley in front of 74,000 people and jam their own intro! New to cinemas for 2019 in its first ever Theatrical exhibition, this masterclass in showmanship and musicianship has been painstakingly restored over a twelve-month period from the original 35mm film negative to 4K Ultra HD. Presented in cinematic 16:9 widescreen (the original film was released in 4:3 aspect ratio), the restored version was created by shot-by-shot repositioning of each frame. (plb)
